Initiates of Fury
And so the warriors grow weary of swinging swords and captaining bands of lessers. They turn to the craft, the wisdom of Fury and the boon of the unwary. As prophets they only begin...

Bio:
Raising his blood stained muzzle to the sky, Snort let out a long howl. His pack of vicious hell hounds had just defeated the combined armies of the northmen. Nothing stood in the way of their domination of the land. The hunting would be good this year.
Snort was proud to be a part of this victory. However, it was not enough. He wanted control of the pack. It was his plan that brought them to this place of victory. Yet it was Blackclaw, the alpha, that would be praised. Snort felt it was time to act. He’s been walking in the shadows of this once great leader for far too long.
As Blackclaw approached, Snort jumped atop a boulder his eyes challenging the venerable general. His charcoal coat rippled in the breeze as a low growl escaped his throat. Silvery fangs were bared with a tint of dark blood. He suddenly lauched himself towards Blackclaw.
Blackclaw, caught flatfooted, could not move quickly enough. Snort’s teeth sunk deep into the alpha’s flank, ripping savagely, spraying deep red into the white velvet blanket of snow. Blackclaw flung himself toward his challenger in an effort to counter attack with both claw and tooth. Snort just shook off the attack and lunged once again.
This time the alpha crumpled, blood soaked his silver coat. As the alpha lay there his breathing slowed then stopped. Snort raised his head staring at the pack as they were him. All were stunned at the sudden death of their leader. They soon lowered their eyes and heads in submission to the new alpha. Snort was now standing proud in the light of the six moons. He was now the future...

Bio:
The warrior looks all around him. The vast countryside of gentle plains, rollings hills, and ominous mountains as far as the eye can see. As he designs the plans of destruction for those that oppose him, the warrior takes a moment. A moment to calm himself and enjoy the serenity. For the moment is fleeting...no more than two days travel away stand one, maybe two or three armies who would have his empire for their own. The time for serenity is over. No more rest until they, or him, have been laid to rest. Onward to victory.

Bio:
"Look closely at the penumbra formed between the cold light of reality and the illusory darkness of dreams; within lies a realm of infinite possibilities called...madness."
-In reply to Mephto Phyllus on why I am called "Mad"
The Mad Scot once again looks over the battlefield as he continues to speak.
"Yes, he will gain much Fury from the deaths of these proud soldiers, from whom he could learn much about bravery. And now that he has sold his manhood so cheaply, how shall he ever buy it back; and now that his honor has become mere costume jewelry, how shall he ever convince others that it has value at all?"
-Upon witnessing the breach of NAP by Tazatron in Battle for Supremacy
“My good lady, your kingdom is grand and stretches far and with it your prestige. Your coffers pour over and your mystic engineers are heady with fury and so I stand in awe and fear, but these cannot rule my heart. As a child of the Eye, I must move forward against your machine of war and see it buried beneath the holy ground where the creatures of the deep places shall slowly, ever so slowly, reabsorb the misguided tools of destruction that Crank has commanded you to build. So I tell you that soon you shall look to the horizon and there will I stand with my hand firmly upon the hilt of my claymore, my face painted with the funery sigil, and the pipers sounding advance.”
-My reply to noble Lady Llyric that we must meet as enemies in Generations
"We come to it at last. All that is left are the memories of lost men and the women that mourn them. These are the legacies of war, these are the tragedies of war. The dead float and descend into the depths and me thinks I have had enough of this. I will not permit you ladies to see another generation die in the deep unyielding waters of the Gonsyn. I shall call my druids and we shall dry up the sea to make of it a grave for all time. All that shall remain then will be the memories of lost men and you stone women who shall mark this spot. You shall be a memorial, a gravestone, a signpost to all who choose the absurdity of war."
-Upon the defeat of SeaRover during Monarch of the Mountain
"As I ponder all that has transpired I am reminded of the Grail Quest of Arthurian Legend. It was a grand undertaking with an holy ordinance which set it upon its path but even so it was fraught with failed efforts and tribulation. Even mighty Lancelot, the greatest of the Round Table’s knights could not complete the quest, hampered by his own flaws and vainglory. So it was that our quest here struggled along to its bloody and blistered ending amidst natural and supernatural events. It gives me pause to wonder if any endeavor under the blackened skies of Evernight can achieve glory without a requisite amount of ignominy? I shall leave it to the gods to answer in their time and in their fashion, as such questions are seemingly unanswerable by we mortals but I will say this: upon the road of the Knight’s Quest I met men and women of integrity, true nobles and truer friends and for that I shall be grateful…"

Bio:
He stood atop the rise
And gazed upon the field of battle
All he saw was death, and blood that ran in rivers upon the ground
The field was in an eerie silence for Death makes no sound
How does a warrior deal with the time between
the wait for battle stretches on and on
Life seems to stop, and time seems without end
Cold steel, courage, strength, and magic are his only friends
As for regrets he has naught, but one
That for now the battle is over
And the only thing that he fears is peace
For he knows that is when all battles will cease

Bio:
The city was engulfed in flame. The survivors huddled together in what shadows they could find. The Magma Demon had finally finished laying waste to their homes and had moved on into the countryside, yet the denizens still cowered in fear. Something else was approaching and it filled their hearts with dread.
A man appeared among the flames. Sword drawn, he seemed to float through the fire unscathed. The defeated general approached the man and dropped to his knees before him. “Who are you?” the general asked in a trembling voice. “Yoshiwara”, the wizard of fire replied in a whisper yet later everyone would swear it sounded as if the man had spoken into his or her ear.
In a blindingly swift move of his sword Yoshiwara removed the generals head catching it by the hair as it leapt from the generals neck. Silently Yoshiwara faded back in among the flames and with his leaving the flames died quickly.
The feeling of dread removed, the citizens emerged into the smoky sunlight to rebuild their ruined city.
