Survival Regions

Humbling Yourself at the Feet of Your Conqueror.

I just wanted to post a recent occurance for the benefit of the newbies who have somehow, it seems, gotten the idea that Survival Regions should be expected.

His only statement to me, the entire game, was one word ... "Why?" This was after I grunched up into his sole mountain region.

Here was my response.

Greetings Deceased One,

So far as my records show, I have no terms of surrender, no pleas for solstice, no prayers for mercy. Indeed, your lack of communication led my armies to believe your forces were nothing more than natives. Fierce fighting and intresting tactics you did have at times, but this is not enough to warrant survival in my tome. You must admit, I gave you over 10 ticks to humble yourself at my temple gates and beg to keep the mountain retreat.

Had I not been so close to placing in this game, I may have let you live for sheer lack of will to grunch, but as the standings lay, every region counts. Your lack of verbal submission to me was arrogant, and thus, I did smite thee.
